Comox Valley Real Estate – The Horizons at Aspen Village, an Exciting New Residential and Retail Concept

A new Whistler style project has received final approval to proceed in Comox. We have never seen this type of development on the Comox Valley real estate scene before and it is an exciting one. SkyRider Developments is the developer and the project is a three story mixed-use building, called The Horizons at Aspen Village on Aspen Avenue in Comox. The project, located across the street from the Co-Op gas station in Comox, will feature 65 apartment units and 22,000 sq. ft. of ground floor commercial space. The plan features two buildings built in a West Coast style facing a common square for residents’ use. Ocean and mountain views are available from some of the condominiums. Construction is expected to get underway in the next month or two with a completion date of October 2010. Prices start at $159,000.
