Green and Sustainable Mini-Storage for Comox Valley
Comox Valley to have one of the “Greenest Mini-Storage Facilities” in Western Canada
The re-zoning application for a new mini-storage facility received first and second readings from Comox Town Council last week. The project will include mini storage units, a small commercial building and a few residential housing units. It will also include 1,940 square metres of warehousing and 342 square metres of ground floor commercial space. This project is expected to be the “greenest” mini storage facilities in Western Canada as it will incorporate an above ground cistern to collect rain water that will assist with irrigation, a geothermal heat system and solar tubes. Robannah Dev. Ltd. is expected to begin construction early in the New Year, once all approvals are in place. The new project will be located behind WesternOne Rentals and the Husky Gas Station on Anderton in Comox, with access off of Anderton Road.
