New Wal-Mart Supercentre in Campbell River on Vancouver Island

Many Jobs Created on Vancouver Island due to Opening

The new 150,000 square foot Wal-mart Supercentre in Campbell River on Vancouver Island opened on June 18th.

The new Vancouver Island store will be open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. The new centre in Campbell River has a full grocery store, a hair salon, a medical clinic, a nail salon.

Bill Henderson, renowned carver of Campbell River has created two totem poles that have been placed at the store’s two main entrances.

Over 300 jobs have been created on Vancouver Island with the opening of the new Campbell River store. The project construction had created 200 construction jobs.
