Completion of Comox Valley Facility Expected by June 2012
The tender for the construction of a new two storey, 24,000 square metre health care facility at 19 Wing Comox located in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island was awarded to Island West Coast Developments. The new Comox Valley facility will be located on DND property near the entrance to the base and will provide services for dental, mental health and trauma.
The estimated budget for this Vancouver Island project is approximately $12 million and the expected completion date is June 2012.
